     The Veterans Affairs Commission of the Executive Yuan of the ROC was established with the aim of serving all our fellow veterans by means of assisting them in seeking and successfully obtaining medical care, home care, employment assistance, and educational assistance. Our main goal is to realize the political ideal of our government to repay our veterans for their contributions to the country, and to maintain strong armed forces, to keep our society stable, to contribute to the economic development of the R.O.C. and to upgrade our nation"s diplomacy. In recent years, due to the implementation of "Military Downsizing", our services to these veterans are being seen as especially important. In addition to continuing our improvement of medical and home care for our veterans, we are also designing specific programs regarding employment and educational assistance to cater to the needs of newly retired veterans.

     We are also working hard in providing electronic/cybernetic services. We hope, through the limitless internet, to offer you information concerning all kinds of veteran"s assistance, and to help you better understand and support our work.
