The Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) is one of the world's leading research think tanks in a number of fields. On 8th February 2017, the delegation of RUSI visited the Veterans Affairs Council, exchanging views on the services for the veterans. The members of delegation include Director-general Karin von Hippel, Lord Truscott, Vice Admiral Sir Anthony Dymock, Lieutenant General Sir Simon Mayall, Director of Counter Terrorism Global Ltd Mr. Richard Walton, and Research Analyst for Asia-Pacific Studies Ms. Veerle Nouwens. After the presentation on the veterans' service system provided by the V.A.C., both sides exchanged the views on the veterans' services systems between Taiwan and the UK, and Sir Dymock and Sir Mayall were particularly impressed by the comprehensive veterans' service system provided in Taiwan.
