The Commander of the Pacific Area of the American Foreign Wars, Mr. Farris visited the Republic of China (Taiwan) in 2019.

Farris visited the Republic of China (Taiwan) from October 6 to 11, 2019.
 
VAC gave the briefing on the policies of the government services to veterans. Chairman Lee, Wen Chung warmly received and thanked our guest for coming to visit us and share a long-term friendship with us.
 
Mr. Farris stressed that through the visit arranged by VAC, he learned not only the culture and the people of the Republic of China but also the services the country provides to their honorary veterans.
 
Commander Farris also visited the Banqiao Honorary Care Home, the Taipei Veterans General Hospital, the National Defense Security Research Institute, the KinkasekiPrisoner's Camp Monument and the National Palace Museum.
