The Department of Retirement Payment provides the following services:

  1. Pensions:
    In charge of distributing regular payments, including veterans' pensions, maintenance allowances, living subsidies and half-pensions for widows.
     
  2. Certification of spouses for pension-holders:
    Certification for spouses of veterans with pensions, subsidies, and maintenance allowances.
     
  3. Utilities discounts for families of pension-holders:
    In charge of utilities discounts for homes of families of reserve personnel and veterans.
     
  4. Educational subsidies for children of pension-holders:
    Veterans Service Offices located in various counties and cities accept applications for educational subsidies for children of veterans with pensions, maintenance allowances, and subsidies.
     
  5. Other subsidies:
    Officers and non-commissioned officers who have not received monetary honors or prizes that they should, or payments that they should, can apply for those payments in person with the relevant documentation at Veterans Service Offices in various counties and cities.
     
  6. Half-pensions and lump sum discharge payments:
    When a pension-holder dies, his survivors may receive half-pensions or lump sum discharge payments. They should apply for these payments with the relevant documentation at Veterans Service Offices in various counties and cities.
  7. General:
    Budgeting for retirement pensions, personnel allocation, petitions.
